Cosmetology is the general umbrella that covers all aspects of the beauty industry. The coursework includes: Haircutting, Hairstyling, Hair Color, Permanent Waving, Basic Manicuring and Pedicuring, Facials, Anatomy and Physiology, specialized topics and clinical training with the public. Upon completion, the student will be able to take the State Board Examination to become a licensed Cosmetologist in West Virginia.
Financial Aid is available to qualifying students. Morgantown Beauty College, Inc. offers a variety of flexible tuition payment plans. Classes are Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Evening classes available. Have an odd schedule? We will be happy to assist you in accomodating your schedule. Come in and visit us! PLEASE NOTE: Part-time students receiving Financial Aid are required to complete a minimum of 25 hours per week in order to maintain funding.

Esthetics focuses on skin care, makeup, facial massage and the nutritional foundations of health and beauty regimens. The coursework includes: Nutrition, Health of Skin, Skin Structure, Temporary Hair Removal Methods and supervised clinical training with the public. Upon completion, the student will be eligible to take the State Board Examination to become a licensed Esthetician in West Virginia.

Morgantown Beauty College, Inc. offers a 600 Hour Massage Therapy Program lasting 6 months. This program meets or exceeds accrediting standards set forth by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA)*, the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) and the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission and the West Virginia Massage Licensure Board. Upon completion of the program, the student will be eligible for West Virginia Licensure and be eligible to take the National Certification Examination (NCE).
Day Classes Only: Tuesday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Saturday 9am-3pm
* COMTA is referenced for standards only. Morgantown Beauty College will apply for COMTA this year.
** Saturday clinic begins in the 6th week of class. Times may vary. This program lasts 26 weeks (6 months).
The Morgantown Beauty College, Inc.'s Massage Therapy Program will provide the basic theoretical and practical skills in Massage Therapy. Along with a strong foundation in theory, practical skills will be emphasized throughout the course by participation in Clinical practice, Open Houses, Seminars, Athletic Events and Visits to Community Businesses.
Financial Aid in the form of Pell Grants and Stafford Loans is available.
WIA (pronounced WE-UH) funding through the WV Job Service Office is available to qualifying to students for day or night class. Contact the Morgantown Job Service at 304-285-3120 for more information.

This program allows the licensed Barber to be eligible for Cosmetology licensure and expand services to the public. The student will be evaluated on Theory, Practical and Clinical work.

Nail Technology encompasses artistic precision using advanced techniques and products to shape and enhance the nails, fingers and toes. The coursework includes: Manicuring, Pedicuring, Sculptured Nails, Nail Wraps and Supervised clinical training with the public. Upon completion, the student will be eligible to take the State Board Exam to become a licensed Nail Technologist in West Virginia.

The Student Instructor program offers a licensed Cosmetologist with one (1) year work experience to gain the knowledge and expertise to become an Instructor. The program includes: Structuring Course Outlines, Lesson Plan Development, Teaching Theory and Practical Experience while guided by a Master Instructor. Upon completion, the student is eligible to take the State Board Examination to be a licensed Instructor in West Virginia.
